Position Summary: Catalus Corporation is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer or COO to oversee our organizations ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of the business. The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The successful candidate will maintain control of diverse business operations between our locations in Saint Marys, PA and Galeton, PA, and will be expected to be an experienced and efficient leader. This position will be based out of the Saint Marys, PA facility. If you have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you. The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures; set comprehensive goals for performance and growth; establish policies that promote company culture and vision; oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Manufacturing, IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.); lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication; evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics; write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance; and manage relationships with partners/vendors.

Skills: Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role; understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.; demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development; working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics; working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS office 365; outstanding organizational and leadership abilities; excellent interpersonal skills; aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving; BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MS/MBA is a plus.

Catalus Corporation in Galeton is looking for individuals who want to become part of a family owned and operated business for over 80 years. Entry-level positions offer competitive pay and excellent benefits packages including medical, dental, 401k, and company paid life insurance. Starting rate $14.24.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Performs repetitive loading/unloading of various parts to and from production equipment.
  • Replenishing parts in proper quantities to maintain production flow.
  • Requires simple unskilled handling of a variety of parts with normal dexterity and coordination.
  • Checks materials prior to loading for obvious defects.
  • Clears minor feed jams.
  • Visually checks, sorts, counts and hand packs parts.
  • Inspects parts for cracks, burrs or other imperfections.
  • Places finished parts into bags, containers, or cartons for shipment.  Requires close supervision.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work.
  • When utility work is slow, works where needed.
  • Additional schooling may be required.
